Re: Most stylish tricks of all time

The Christope Tack Flip https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwXFOywVQzE I guess its all in how its done. That last one by Tack is by far the sickest in the clip despite the one done by Marc being way bigger. That first rotation has to be a roll and not a spin. Same with an S bend. Gotta get that invers...

Right in my wheelhouse !

Foundation Training

It's the most succinct system of exercise I’ve found to directly combat our current common postural faults.

If sitting is the new smoking, kiting is damn near a fine cigar.

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Can peeps give me an idea of their wind ranges with dif Peak4 sizes on SNOW. The website has em all starting at 3 or 4 knots, but thats obviously just flying. Have the 3,4,5 and am considering a bigger one for use with a snowboard on snow covered lakes. Everything from relatively low drag hard pack,...

Re: Hand numbness at night after big sessions?

Well lets not get carried away and diagnose this guy with a cervical disk herniation over the internet! Could be as simple as super pumped scalenes pressuring the brachial plexus (jacked muscles pinching nerves to the arm) Riding technique, sleep posture, weekend warrior syndrome, or any combination...

Re: Incredible Lofting Story From The Great Lakes

My thoughts are with all of you who knew him. I kite big days, often alone and it definitely impacts my thinking. Big days are special. The risk is part of why we do it. Just to know we can. Certainly the riding is not as good as it is in less wind, but the feeling of being truly alive is addictive....

Re: Pocketboard question

Certainly personal preference how you like to feel while riding. Strapless is a move nuanced balance, where straps allow you to man handle the foil more aggressively. Personally there are a number of factors. Safety is a big one. I don't want to tweak a knee or ankle, and ride enough it would be ine...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Flyboy you could buy the 5m and miss the slight extra bottom end the 6m should bring. It's a cracker of a kite. Ok I have a question for those of you who ride in the surf. I am just getting better and better at getting out in bigger swell and getting longer rides. My favourite combo is 5m & axis 82...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Get the 4m. It's hands down my favourite. Love the 5m but it has nothing on the 4. 14-24 is pretty much exactly my range on the 4.

Sweet spot for me on the 5m is 11 to 16 knots (21m lines, Lift 170, average weight)

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

Definitely some nuance to learn. It comes quick enough. I think once you get down to 3m sizes it almost doesn't matter what kind of kite it is. They're all easy to oversheet and stall. As a full package, I much prefer it to my experiences in high wind foiling on peaks. I am much more comfortable in ...
