Re: The best kite for Teaching?

I know many people are saying forget brand and just 3 strut kite will be fine but after teaching for a few years I do notice the difference between brands and am curious to get a bit more detailed info. The radar is a 3 strut kite - inverts often after a crash Catalyst also 3 strut - while teaching ...

Interesting post! That's deep stuff, I'm loving kiting every aspect of it being always aware of the weather while surrounding myself with a great crew of kiters in a lovely location. My partner kites too and we visit different countries renound for kiting. For us it's a major part of our lives and I...

Re: The best kite for Teaching?

Yeah I worked with the catalyst last season and loved it! Definatley a great relaunch and very stable in air. The season before we used Cabrinha radar which was fine but you wouldn't believe how many times that Kite inverts after a crash it just flips over and relaunches inverted. What advantages wo...

The best kite for Teaching?

Out of curiosity I'd like to get your opinion on the best school kite. From first flight, waterstart right up to first jumps. I've seen plenty of schools use a variety of gear but was surprised that some duotone schools teach with the Mono. Why not use the Evo for lessons? Airush have the classic DN...

Re: Honest advice lol

I uave to say I tried the 2019 NV 7m and it's an amazing kite huge boosting potential and punchy loops.

Also construction is very solid. Only thing I didn't like tisbthe valve it is an absolute pain to unscrew and to screw on and always takes time for it to go on the threads properly!

Re: You love it - SUP and kite shop in Dusseldorf - Do not buy!

Used them a few times and actually worked great. Ordered 2018 mystic harness and received the 2019 model. Ordered standard pump and received the xl version which is 10€ extra. Also delivery took about 2 weeks but I'm patient enough and it's not too long. Orders were shipped to Ireland

Tarifa IKO Restrictions?

In Tarifa now and looking for work as an instructor, every school now say that you need a FAV certificate which is a specific certificate needed to teach now in Spain, I've heard bits and pieces about fines and beach patrols from the council cracking down on IKO instructors without the FAV but cant ...

Re: Pain in foot after kiting.

I have shinn ultrasonic I know the model is older but I got an aching pain on the area just about my baby toe. What solved it was just loosening the straps a tiny bit and it freed up the pain for some reason. I now use different straps and have them tight without any pain at all. Try loosening the s...
