Re: Bed sun protection routine for kiters?

Best sunscreen I found is a Bannana Boat Ultra Defense 100.
Very sticky, doesnt run into your eyes and works for a couple hours.
Only downside it is very thick.

Re: Naish Pivot 2020

So I just tested the Pivot 2020. I must say it’s a good kite with very nice jumping/hangtime and easy to ride. More depower as well compared to a C kite. What I didn’t like were downloops after a jump (sometimes the kite didn’t finish the loop very well, sometimes it even felt back in the window af...

Re: Line length poll

To me it seems the options available for foil kites are well off the reality, if there s an interest in knowing real lenghts used, should make ranges in the 10 - 12 and 15mt

no need to re-invent the wheel here...

Nope, too short and you end uo looking at your feet.
Try a line mount, ther are a couple that are very nive, either with a gymbal (Noir Matter), or just in the lines (I recomend Camrig)

Re: Light Wind Hydrofoil technique

Do a very wide downloop on your kite (to the side you re hoping to take off), Point your board downwind on the downstroke gaining speed, pop when the kite s climbing back up and edge when the kite flies to the edge of the wind window.

Re: Increasing Downwind Speed

Why did you switch out the banga for Levitaz? Don't know the details on banga, but Levitaz Bionic isn't the most easy race foil. The bigger 2018 stabiliser is an improvement but there are way more forgiving foils on the market. Maybe you just need to learn how to ride your Levitaz, it takes time to...

Increasing Downwind Speed

Hi Guys, Came here for a little riding advise. After learning the basics of foiling, got myself a couple flysurfer Souls and a 2017 Banga hydrofoil to get into higher speed riding and messing arround with the local racers. Kind of managed to get the hang of it, reaching speeds of 17-19 knots whilst ...

Re: foiling with a big board

There's a guy up here that's known for his long-distance windsurfing. He also kites and foils. He's been using a 90L freestyle windsurf board with a hydrofoil and kite to do long distance in light wind. If he gets skunked with wind dieing, he rolls his kite up and paddles in and works it out. Appar...

Seat Harness for Foil Racing

Hi guys, simple question, which harnesses are the top guys using on tour?
I ve been using a NP Gravity, nice and lightweight, but it tends to squish my groin in overpowered conditions, so i m looking to change it.
Any info is welcome
