Re: Full Body Harness for SnowKiting

I’ve always been very comfortable with my Ozone snowkite harness and would highly recommend it. It is really easy to get down low with to hold an edge. I ride switch a lot, especially on soft snow where snowboards without rear are so much easier. Thats when a climbing harness gets uncomfortable and...

Low aspect open cell vs. single skin

There are bunch of diffent open cell snowkites on the market. While i understand the performance advantage of a high aspect kite or the versatility of a hyperlink, i am not sure what a low aspect open cell can do that a single skin kite can not do better. Is it because some people expect a new versi...

Re: Kitech FRS

Following this thread I got a 12m FRS in standard material (32g) and am very happy with it. The standard cloth version hangs in the air in very little wind. As others have mentioned, the stearing is nice and direct and the easy depower makes it great for foiling. When i sheet out and direct it up fo...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

So, we seem to go round in circles on this a bit. There's a consensus that the 5m, 4m, & 3m are "fun" because they are small, light & lively with great drift for riding downwind on waves or swell. But there's some hesitation about recommending the bigger sizes because they are slower & so lack some...

It is possible. There is some small brand which made high aspect single skins for buggy racing. They are quite successful. Buggy racing is all about performance

Re: Spitfire with standard stab and XL wing

Interesting, first time I hear about that! Which one is the Stab on the Spitfire (where goes the bigger wing, front or back)?

Re: Flysurfer Peak 4

I tried the Peak4 3m in 20 to 30kn and its good for that range. If there should be a Peak5 coming out end of this year I hope will have a wider depower way. It feels like the kite could be flown with a 20cm bar, it is a bit twitchy. Im 80 kg and ride an 800cm2 foil and 30kn is the upper range of the...
