Re: Spitfire-cannards in general

My biggest problem at the moment is that the baseplate has a 160x85mm spacing. If I want to buy another board (and I think I'm ready for something shorter and lighter than my pocket air) they all seem to have 90mm tracks. So I guess I'm caught in the Zeeko eco-system? The spitfire baseplate is stan...

Re: lighter harness for foiling?

I have used a climbing harness without spreader bar in light wind a couple if times. It works well and i liked having the pull mainly on leg straps while riding. It was less comfortable riding switch, but still ok. I wonder if its possible to attach a spreader bar to a climbing harness.

Re: Kitech FRS

Does anyone have experience with the 27g Version on snow? I thought about getting the 12m FRS for light wind hydrofoil and snowkiting, but have no idea how robust the cloth is. Even 32g for standardcloth doesnt seem heavy and it might withstand more scrape loops on hard snow. Someone on Lesfoils mea...

Re: Making peak 4 unsinkable?

It would already help to make the leading edge drainable, then it would be easier to reverse start. I feel like any type of additional weight would change whats good about this kite.

Re: Canards

In the video on Page 1, the canard being used looks to me like the wing tips may not be as square as the XXLW? Nicolas has also said that they are bringing out a 1600 sq cm foil, so could that be a canard? All of this is speculation on my part apart from the bit about a 1600 sq cm foil. I think you...

I hope there is one coming, also a wingsize inbetween xlw and xxlw would be great

Nixmatters, is the xxlw a selfbuild or the new edition wing?
