I've done all of the above (apart from smokong into the bladder!) twice without finding the damn thing. I have two possible solutions: 1) Buy a foil eg psycho 1a) Buy a new bladder (somewhat cheaper) 2) Bring my pump down to the water and inflate the offending strut every hour or so. Has anyone trie...

lucky thing
i was there for 6 months early this year. Had most sessions at Flat Rock or Ballina river. The Pass always seems too crowded

sounds like Hawaiians are agro, egotistical people. They obviously don't ride winds that gust up and down a ten knot range then!

What about the surf localism as well. Is there kite localism going on there too?

that's so right. the spinny-roundy-roundy-splash-in-water looks rubbish. What about the super-smooth transitional moves? I have the 8.4AB and 16m fuel and I weigh about the same as you! Here are my views: the fuel is a much slower turning kite than the AB , and slower than the 11.8ab too. You'll have to adapt to the different riding styles, but that's not such a problem, I use a very short bar on the AB to compensate....
