Re: Kevin Langeree leaving Naish... with Poll

it would not surprise me if the time for the Kevin Langeree brand...is now. he's a more than a big enough name.. if it were me (and my financials, distributions, etc are all in order).... i'd do it. maybe that former naish designer is already on his team. https://kiteforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=2...

Re: Bars with a long depower throw (60 cm)?

So I wear a low seat harness (old back issues) and have pretty long arms. For kite foiling I really like using a bar with a long depower throw. It allows me to avoid having to use the trim strap all the time in gusty conditions. I end up in 15 to 30 mph conditions more than I’d like The only way I’...

Re: Kiting alone

for the record.. board leashes are incredible dumb anytime... but triple dumb when alone. doesnt matter whether you use a helmet or not.. you get a hit at base of skull there is a good chance you'll lose consciousness. knock yourself while alone.....even chance you don't wake. sorry most folks lives...

Re: Kite Snorkeling - lets talk about it!

next time anyone goes to gran cayman island... have a local take you to the launch for riding north sound (is a little tricky to find..and maybe trickier launch) however... if you can keep a good track upwind( on a foil)..... you'll reach a sandbar before the reef. and these guys are waiting for you...

Re: Reasonably Minimalistic Bar For Foiling

it is a lil expensive for what it is...
and i prefer longer lines than the 20m it comes with..

but my favorire bar is still boardridingmaui's CCS system.
i never got unused to that Looooong throw/depower. (is perfect...with line extensions))

Re: Foiling gear, upgrading.

nice.. primarly reason is i can fit a 90cm board fits in a oversized wheeled duffel bag luggage. i'm your exact size/weight.. but as you said.. is very individual. my only complain about the macho pro is the way it floats in the water...is comfy. wide or narrow stance since i frequently use kites th...

Re: Theft Story? Tell Yours

i saw a beautful(and expensive) carbon Imperator board left(lost?) at wildcat in corpus... it was sitting in the grass when i left.. and was still sitting ther the next day when i returned (i was amazed...in cabarete that board would have deveoped legs immediately) i tend to be orderly..and i practi...

Re: How much do top riders make?

Drones? No way that is going to have any kind of mass market product available anytime soon. There are still lots of problems, just to name a few: 1) First you need someone else to steer it or some way to steer it yourself. If you think AI will magically make it work independently you are kidding y...
