Re: Kiting in Puerto Morelos, Mexico

I rode a Norte there once, 9m was too big.

Avoid riding on the reef.

Mucho gusto

Re: Oh Shit handles ???

If your safety system fails for any reason, grab the o-shit handle and release your leash.

Re: Tips and Tricks to Repair Kites - add your experience!

Slingshot sells a hose replacement kit, along with the clips.

You can probably find similar rubber hoses in a hardware store.

For repairing bladder valves, urethane glue works well, but it takes about 6 hours to dry.

Re: Tips and Tricks to Repair Kites - add your experience!

Anyone use duct tape to repair bladders? I've heard it works well.

Re: Slingshot Link Reviews?

So what's the current thinking on these kites? Still having problems or is it just a tuning issue?

9M Slingshot Link vs. Rev

What is the difference between the Link and the Rev?

They look very similar.

Thanks...

Re: OPINIONS>>What company makes the best straps and pads??

For me, pads with gel inserts are the most comfortable by far. But they are heavy.

Foam pads can be flat, or they can have raised heels and arch.

It all depends on the shape of your foot and your own personal preference.

Try gel pads sometime if you get a chance.

Re: slingshot fuel 9m high end

I'm always getting overpowered on my 9m fuel when the wind gets above 30 kts. I weigh about 160 lbs.
