Re: Sucessful removal of misplaced stick-on pad/strap

What is a good way to remove the adhesive/glue from the board after removing the pad?

I prefer not to use a razor blade.

Re: Fuel 2007 with which bar?? Torch vs. Fuel ??

It's easy to modify a kite bar. I relocated my profire bar's fifth line to the front line swivel, so it doesn't run all the way down to the chicken loop any more. You can probably relocate the depower cleat above the bar as well.

Re: slingshot wave grenade

No larkshead knot on the fifth line? Just thread the pin through the loop at the end of the line? Sounds simple.

Thanks!

Re: Hey slingshot, please put replacement parts on your website

I find lots of slingshot parts on online stores, like Realkiteboarding, etc.

Re: Puerto Morelos, Mayan Riviera

Great place to kite, I visit there every winter. Not very many kiters. Ask around for the Ikarus guys.

No kiting is allowed at the center of town. Go about 1/2 mile north of the pier and find a nice open area away from the beach people.

Re: advice for an old timer

Check out the slingshot surefire spreader bar for your harness.

It has a leash/quick-release that works with all kites/bars.

So, you have a second quick-release in case there's a problem.

Re: new lightwind wave riding technique?

In the last surf related thread alan posted this response at the end of it and I think it deserves a fresh look by itself. Why? Because it touches on three topics that are the key to the future. 1. light winds are the future of wave kiting. Have at it flamers and thinkers. Isn't the solution to los...
