Re: Sliding spreader bar for Mystic Warrior harness

I have a Dynabar that fits that strap configuration but I am not sure whether they are still going. I got mine from Blast kitesurfing in Porthcawl, they will know whether they are still available. They are on line, but in UK.

Good piece of strong kit if still available.

Re: Questions on Mystic Stealth bar..

To be Honest I would expect some level of safety testing to be done on harnesses and chicken loops and a very visible warning given if certain combinations are dangerous. Case in point is the metal D loop on the J Dynabar. Seen deathloops happen with the chicken loop jammed in that before.

Re: Questions on Mystic Stealth bar..

... rope version (medium) which is on my Ion Echo (large) seat harness. Fits fine and is really stable, and is also a huge amount lighter than my Dynabar slider which is pretty much destroyed. I took the back off to have a look (4 x 2.5mm hex bolts) and the rope is dead easy to replace. All that's ...

Re: Maneuverable Seat Harness

Vega with a Dynabar rope slider, I just open my chicken loop and secure it around the rope. I know this is just a meme at this point on Kiteforum, but this was a LITERAL game-changer for me after a L5/S1 herniation. Being able to ...

Re: Maneuverable Seat Harness

... compared to the Fusion (especially the new one). I haul the spreader bar and pull down straps as tight as possible, and just snug the legs. The Dynabar is 13 inches wide (I don't use clips at all), so aside from the initial feeling of BDSM-on-the-beach, it's a comfy harness with no pressure ...

Re: Maneuverable Seat Harness

I run a Halo bar but am wondering about a slider setup....just freaks me out some from a big air perspective. Used to ride the Fusion with the Dynabar for all riding, including big air. It's fine, and when you get used to it moving, you actually appreciate the movement. Or at least, I did :D ...

Re: Maneuverable Seat Harness

I used a Dynabar with the Fusion, and it's much better. Given how much I foil and don't TT now, I've started using a hybrid waist/seat cos it's lighter and less bulky... Which hybrid waist/seat harness do you use? Does it unload ...

Re: mystic stealth bar

... as it is part of the spreader bar, so if you think you may want both options buy the fixed hook. I used to use both a hook and sliding rope on my Dynabar and it worked fine, just make sure the rope is above the fixed hook so it doesn't get caught up.
