Pain on the inside of the elbow is not tennis elbow. Tennis elbow is on the outside (with the palm facing up). You probably have medial epicondylitis. Less common. Go see an orthopod or hand/upper limb surgeon surgeon or sports med doctor (your average doctor wont know) and get examined. Get your ul...

NZ in october equals equinoxial gales. Bring a 10 or 8 in your quiver. 90 mile beach is awesome at the southern end (Ahipara) but can get pretty gnarly when it blows. However 20 mins drive across the island are 4 or 5 of the most magic kiting spots I have ever been to, take your pick depending on wi...

Oops, I meant Pearl Beach Resort. Pacific Resort is nice but not the place to go for kiting, it is on the lea side of the island whereas pearl Beach is right where the business is.

I kited Aitutaki in June. Spent 3 weeks checking the wind at Zuji.com beforehand and decided it averaged around 10-20 knots. Took a 16m and my 136x36 tray because maximum luggage is 15kg. Found the best spot was at the Pacific Resort which has wind all the time, great launching, no coral, white sand...

dt, I cant comment on the bar shape but It makes sense to me that having your forearm less pronated (ie palm up or to the side rather than palm down) may be better. Personally I hate kiting palm up. Maybe the north bar helps this but I wouldnt get too hung up on that detail. Use what feels best for ...

Dude I am afraid that the news may not be what you want to hear. I presume that you have tennis elbow also known as lateral epicondylitis. This is not an elbow joint problem (as has been pointed out) although without a full description of our symptoms it is difficult to give an accurate diagnosis. I...

Thanks Chris, of course you are right about the relaunching (doh)! But what about retrofitting to a backline flyer such as my Aero 1. It should work, but the bar pressure is higher on these older kites so will it be a problem unhooking? I know that I sometimes have trouble getting out of my fixed li...

A bit of inspired thinking Chris. 2 questions: 1. Will this work as well on my back-line flying Aero 1 where I find the kite loses steering if I have it on full depower slack back-lines? I hope it will because I like the idea of making it turn faster. And along these lines will I miss my fixed loop ...

Also looks like no road access. Dont they kite close to the Airport in Noumea??? Dunno if they have problems th...

Same issues as Dwight for me. Wierd reload, a little faster to load but still not as fast as the old, old site. That was magic.
