Re: Duotone Click Bar 2023

The reason why front lines get twisted on the Trust bar or any other bar is the safety line being attached to the ring directly. The ring the leash is attached to. On the Trust bar it is connected directly on the ring and on the Click bar it goes through the ring with a ball at the end. So if you do...

Re: Where did stopper balls go?

The most functional stopper ball I have ever experienced is hands down the one on the EPIC bars.

Re: ACL rupture and comeback

Havre, it is not possible for anyone to start kiting hard after 4 months, not even after 6 months. Someone who kites a lot and hard and for a loong time, usually has big and strong legs which took time to build. The operated leg shrinks down to almost 0, so much that even normal walking is tiring an...

Re: ACL rupture and comeback

It depends on the doctor and the graft used. I blew my ACL 12 years ago on a bad megaloop landing. I went to 3 doctors. 2 of them told me I will be able to kite but not as hard as I used to. I told them no thanks and bye bye. The 3rd doctor was completely the opposite of the others. He was a very ex...

Re: Soul 8m for freestyle strapless foil? 14-20 knots

I tried the 6m Soul2 the other day for the first time on a twintip. It was blowing 14-18kn and I was shocked how good this kite is. Tons of power for a 6m. I could easily jump and the hangtime was foil like. Man it was 14-18kn, I was on my 10m Soul before I got on the 6m. I thought I would be way un...

Re: Low pressure in leading edge, what happens?

How do you put 10 psi in? I need so much force to bring it up to 8 It is a bit of a struggle to put the last 2 psi in but Toby you must be talking about 14m and 18m. My biggest inflatable is a 10m. I noticed that it is way easier to put 10psi in a 7m than a 10m so I imagine a 14m and 18m will be a ...

Re: Low pressure in leading edge, what happens?

But with a 5th line I assume it will fold later than a 4 line? I think all kinds of inflatables will behave similar when they loose air. Even 1 bar less than the recommended pressure the kite will be flying different. I put 10-11 psi in my Screamer 10m. I also fly a 7m Rebel 2021 sometimes and on m...

Re: Low pressure in leading edge, what happens?

Yeah it starts to fold in the middle, looses it's aerodynamic shape and starts behaving like a 12m Ikea bag.

Re: 58 kg girl, which board? 132 cm, 136 cm or it's the same?

If you had to choose between the 2 you mentioned I would suggest the 136x39. At your weight you can also enjoy the smaller 132x38 but only if you were very experienced. The smaller one needs more power and speed to perform well, so as a beginner who wants to be able to plane easy in light to medium ...
