Re: CrazyFly 2021 Hyper - Go big or go home

I have the 12m 2020, and a friend of mine has the 2021 version. If we happen to meet on the beach in the near future, I can ride his kite for a while to compare. We're in a cold and windless period over here now, so it could take a while... My guess is the differences won't be very big, but the 2021...

Re: CrazyFly 2021 Hyper - Go big or go home

Ok.... now I am confused... The HYPER is THE BIG AIR kite with 5 struts...??? The commercial video is with a Skinny girl in light wind, and some recreational foiling in light winds. Can Marketing be more confusing??? Just my stupid opinion.... (On the other side: the board Raptor extreme : ticket t...

Re: Buying a kite + bar setup from a direct to consumer manufacturer in Europe

There is also Swiss brand Switch kites. They have direct sales and really very good prices. Their Nitro, elements kites are very well known. Also there is RRD or TEN kites which are also in low prices. Switch is New Zealand. Keep in mind with buying from them that the prices on the site are without...

Re: PU covered depower line check?

I have a custom bar with a tight PU cover, and replaced it after 150 sessions or so because the line is one part that includes the trim, and the clamcleat frayed the line a bit. Had a chance to inspect the part of the line that went underneath the PU, and it had no damage whatsoever.

Re: Core Sensor 3 Safety Issues

It is sadly a fact different grading of the various sands found on beaches around the world will contribute to a greater or lessor extent to the wear of parts of control bars, so they should be dunked if set up on sand and it also makes sense to wash in clean water after riding, as it ever has been...

Re: Core Sensor 3 Safety Issues

I read your posts.. Not jumping on him but then doing exactly that in the post above. Lock down is a fact unfortunately, he didn’t say there was going to be NO response but that it might take longer. Berating him for a global pandemic effecting response times is exactly what i was on about. If supp...

Re: Core Sensor 3 Safety Issues

I've seen this problem multiple times on different forums, FB and whatsapp groupchats. Also the PU powerline getting stuck when pulling the QR seems to be a reoccuring problem. Yup, found this on one german forum. Seems like it stuck's and does not go all the way to the end and the metal lever can'...
