Re: Itching under the wtsuit & harness

Where exactly does it itch under your harness? I sometimes start itching after a couple hours where my harness is pressing the front of my ribs. And I think that's just normal, because of the constant high pressure when I'm jumping and the harness is pressing onto my ribs. There are 2 kinds of peop...

Re: Itching under the wtsuit & harness

But my guess is it has something to do with your harness cutting off circulation in the skin.

Seen plenty of stories, and some say it's sand, others say it's allergies, but just like with you, changing wetsuit doesn't always solve it.

Re: Does anyone change their kite settings? Poll

I've experimented with it years ago, but never really found bridle settings (and frontline on C kite) to make a big difference. My Hyper V1 9m is put on the middle barpressure setting, because just like the V8 Edge (if I'm not mistaken) the wingtips can collapse a bit if there's not enough pressure....

Re: What’s your yearly kite budget?

I don't have a budget. When I feel I need something, and I can afford it and think it's worth the money, I'll buy it :)

Re: Slingshot - what's happening? Is there a new designer or what?

Didn't the previous designer for switch (Bill Hanson?) go there a couple of years back? Not saying he is the catalyst but it could be a good way of encouraging creativity by having more design experience onboard He did. The new bridle on the RPM was his work. Don't know what he did after that thoug...

Re: Carbon Fibre Fins

Going from 3cm to 5cm fins made a difference on my Bulldozer for the grip in choppy conditions, but trying the 5cm carbon (injection) fins from my Raptor didn't make a difference after that.

Re: Switch Nano? Yay or Nay?

I can't even call it a review... Sounds to me like the bar pressure declines rapidly when sheeting out, something you can prefer or not, or can get adjusted to in time, but other than that... New Ozone Catalyst does it too, and I personally didn't like it, but I don't hear others complain about it. ...

Re: heli loop not providing lift

Isn’t a ‘standard’ heliloop a forward loop?? After a big jump you'll go full downwind, so forward or backward don't apply. What matters is the kite position before the loop. Heliloops are done through 12. My guess is the topicstarter is looping the kite too fast so it ends up too much upwind again....
