Panchito: Keep up the good work. Keep sharing ideas! Have you thought of making a frame out of wood combing strips, surrounding the little board. You could have a lip on the top of one long edge that the board could slip under. You could have a long lip on the other side that was hinged with a conti...

Maybe you could fill the gap with that Spray on insulating foam. You could cover the foam with celophane wrap, so the small board won't stick to it, and then, set the board onto it, while the foam is wet. The foam expands as it hardens, so you would have to watch it or hold the small board down unti...

Has anybody though of making some kind of small tool to grasp a kite line? It could work like a Jumar (spelling ?) climber that rock climbers use to work their way up a rope.

You could carry it in a pocket on your harness for use in emergencies and landing a kite using the 5th. line.

Panchito: Thanks for a great new concept! I think you are on to something. I have a Flysurfer 26M, and get overpowered to the point of experiencing terrror. I think I will work with your invention, and try to make a system of locks where I can just pull a cord and eject the big board in a split seco...

Will you be using your 5th. line as your safety leash? If you are going to trust the 5th line as your safety leash, beware!! I have a Flysurfer with this disc concept. The idea is better in threory than in practice. The blue safety line constantly tangles around the chicken loop adjuster and also ar...

I can think of 3 ways of attaining a very long center line adjustment: 1. Use both a Chicken Loop Adjuster on the center line as normal, and then use the Masterpiece style rear line adjuster mechanism. 2. Use a really long "rope and cleat" style center line adjuster, but attach a small automatic ree...
