Interesting little Greek niche to this forum I've discovered here...!

I'm going kiting March and April. Was going to go to Egypt but the kite festival was cancelled.

Thinking about trying out Greece. My question is (of course), how is the wind in these months?

I'm keen to get involved in the Testicle too. I've heared on the grapevine that some insane Western politicians are brewing up a war on the other side of the Red Sea. Our kites could get tangled up in low flying jets (ever wondered what would happen?) or worse get shot down by SAM's. What does every...

What about aerial jibing? Not had much success with the above methods so I intend to turn the board around whilst airborne and transition into the new direction. How hard can it be??!!

Well I love stinging the surfers when the waves are rubbish too. But I also love it when the wind is light and no-one's getting anywhere fast on a kite but the waves are clean. Surfing and kiting are complementary: anything but offshore wind often trashes the waves and kiting is iffy on light or off...

I always wondered about this. How about attaching those chemical light sticks to the wing tips? You could go out even without the full moon if the water was safe. Or even a high powered lamp in a sling between the lines shining onto the canopy. Would look very surreal - great 'UFO' pictures for pass...

Have we got bored of raving about the Psycho or has it turned out that they're more ordinary than the hype suggested and not quite so revolutionary ?

Any comments from those who've got over the new kite honeymoon period ?

I think I may still want one!

Regards
Ben

SQ, so sorry to hear. Was it in Norfolk?

Are they insured? If so, who with? I'm dreading the day my car full of gear gets done over in some grotty carpark. Serious investment can equal serious devistation.

Best of Luck getting them back,
Ben
