Re: Reo V5

I have Reo V4 10m² and V5 9m² and 7m². I find 10m² and 9m² overlap too much so probably will keep only one of them. Reo V5 9m² is a very smooth and fast kite. Perfect for wave riding. Should work well for 80kg on Vader 5'1 starting from 16 knots. V5 is so fast and light that you can work the kite an...

Re: Moses 683 top speed, what style and conditions.

Finally tried 683S. It feels faster, but I didn't measure the speed. So far I think that 683S is more fun in flat water for the experienced rider and 633 is more fun in waves or not experienced rider.

Re: Moses 683 top speed, what style and conditions.

This is on Onda 633 on 111cm mast. Will try 683S when I finally get it, but based on the numbers other posted it doesn't look any faster than 633.

Re: R1 18m vs 19m

There's something about R1V2's that I can't remember, like they originally only had a 15 and a 17, then made a 19, then made an 18 later on and because that 18 benefits from more R&D I think people like it more than the other two. I'm probably totally messing that up, but bottom line I wouldn't wor...

R1 18m vs 19m

Thinking to get large race/freerace kite for lake conditions. Ozone R1 V2 or V3 are considered as they are known to handle gusts well. I mostly ride in gusty continental lake conditions with both 633 and race wigns. I heard 17m is not that ultralight wind kite, so considering between 18m and 19m. Ma...

Re: Moses 2019

Does mast plate have any place in racing world or Tuttle is prevailing? Is 111 mast with a plate set to become a history? The trend is tuttle for racing. I freeride with 111cm mast and 633 wing. I'm not planning to switch to tuttle board so that means I'm going to use 111cm mast + 10cm extension 8)

Re: Moses 2019

Havok looks sick. Can't wait to see how it performs on course race. It really starts to feel that larger foil manufacturers are going to fight for Olympics gear. Going to be an interesting competition.

Re: Light wind foil kite for foiling

Ok, last mid season I bought a used Flysurfer Sonic 2 13m to complement my Hyperlink 9m UL. I've flown it 10 times and it's a good kite in wind range compared to the Hyperlink. I've had some great light wind sessions on it on a big hydrofoiling wing. But now I'm wondering if there is a less extreme...

Re: Joker 11m kite

I had Joker 7 11m . It was nice for racing and the guy who bought it from me was happy racing it. However it really needs to be powered well and just doesn't work in light wind. Unless you are expert in foils it would be better to go with something like Ozone Chrono V2/V3 for jumping. What knots do...
