Won’t use a Sonic, right?
Video's 35.5 woo-meter jump was done with Sonic4, I guess there is the connection to topic title?

Re: Wing + mountainboard

Mountainboard with air-gravel tires is actually quite high on friction, compared to surf skate with skate tires. With surfskate you can go nicely on pavement with small wings.

Re: Surfr Or Woo for the luddite?

The only real reason to be on Woo is for the social aspect. I've desperately tried to get my friends over to surfr so I can get away with charging/maintaining/breaking/losing yet another electronic device. Especially one that costs as much as a Woo. WooWorlds is good though. That's a lot of fun. th...

Re: Surfr Or Woo for the luddite?

Thanks all, yes I did have a look on the websites and I downloaded Surfr but I wasn’t set on the attaching phone to board issue. I also couldn’t understand what is the value in Woo as the sensor doesn’t seem to be that complex (but maybe I’m missing something) I like the sound of Hoolian or Surfr w...

Re: Surfr Or Woo for the luddite?

Surfr has a wetsuit mode, so have a water tight neck pouch and put your phone under you wetsuit or into impact vest pocket. Surfr does not fast-eat battery at least on my Samsung phone. As a bonus you don't have to fly bunghole first. Also with Surfr pro you can use your watch as the jump device, no...

It’s crazy how a single skin or hybrid still needs like a billion bridles and an inflatable strutless - none.
I do not follow, brm cloud has bridles. Only lei without bridles are C kites where single frontline goes to a single attach in le/bladder.

Re: Inflatable Single Skin

Ss relaunch is all about getting wind underneath the canopy. So inserting a bladder at le does not make sense to me if you do the same mistake as without the bladder i.e. let the TE to touch the water. With ss it is important if you realize that you are crashing pull full power at the bar and keep i...

Re: Flysurfer Peak 5

What is the minimum line length to fly a Peak? I'd like to try it with a skate Carver. If I remember correctly, I read in this thread that someone broke part of the kite by using lines that were too short... Armin Harich has video online where peak4 13m is connected directly to the bar. Though not ...

Re: Peak size bigger than 6m

Larger peaks imo are not that great with dynamic power generation. On deeper snow I'd recommend Soul-series or Sonic.

I tested larger peaks 8 & 13 with hydrofoil on maybe 6kn:ish winds. Could not get on board due to lack of dynamic power spike while Sonic3 11m no problem and rode away.

Re: High Pressure kite by Bruno Legaignoux

That revolution trick kite ( the first video ) is really agile, it has any promise for foil? I think the stunt kite handle steering is too sensitive for surfing. And constantly requires two hands and correct shoulder alignment plus both arm lenght to properly fly it. Also more steering skills is re...
