i recently spoke to the owner of a windsurf product company that is getting into the kite business. he said developing a bar took more time and money than his kites. Wow really? On this subject i had a chance to check out some RRD lines a week ago. They were really stiff with a very fine braid. They reminded me of a Q line but much thinner. I was impressed, they seemed super strong, same diameter but seemingly stronger then my naish lines that a lot of brands use and i've ...

Im attempting to ride a strapless skim in what passes for waves in welly.. actually riding the wave is really tricky with the kite pulling your edge around, its a delicate balance and i've got lots of space to improve. Its also loads of fun :thumb:

no proper waveriding at muriwai! i am hurt (my local)! lol - i have just witnessed keahi get shacked on a double overhead monster there. i think i know what you mean tho- not down the line... usually ..but my god nw downwinders are sooooo sick . can be a bit of a washing machine but soooo many face...
