Re: bag for split surfboard

thanks for the idea jollydriver!

Just remembered and dug out my old "golf bag" from my twintip days and I think it's gonna do the job for my immediate trip just need to well pad the overlap of the 2 board pieces in the middle.

Re: 18th to 22nd outer banks area

thanks guys, working on finding some extra luggage space :-)

If i wanna kite in some waves with other kiters around where is the best place to go? I'll self launch and land if i have to but much prefer to be around others especially in a new place.

thanks

Re: bag for split surfboard

ah thanks, never saw that, it's a little on the narrow side for my board. the best 3 i've found so far are all boady board bags. think i'm probably gonna go for something like these. http://www.amazon.com/Creatures-Leisure-Bodyboard-Wheely-Travel/dp/B00A9I24U2/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t http://www.ebodybo...

Re: bag for split surfboard

thanks, had a look but its not big enough for split surfboard.
needs to be 90cm by 50cm to fit the board and a bit of padding.

now looking into bodyboard bags them seem like they might work better.

agree with longwhitecloud. in your (our) situation 1 board isn't gonna work for both things without compromising too much.

Re: Ride Engine Harness

looks like it being rigid is gonna make it difficult to pack in luggage. keen to give it a try though.
