Re: Waroo vs. North???

After reading these answers, I dont understand why there are so many using/buying North (and other) kites at all  (a bit of sarcasm of course...) Or maybe there is an "overrepresentation" here on kiteforum, of Best users - as they are most often bought on the internet  (got no issues mys...

Re: Why no 5th line on SLE and Bows?

OzBungy, kitepower, and EvanOR said it all, and explained very correct IMO :thumb:

Re: line lengths for 07 12m thruster

Just acquired a 2nd hand 12m 07 Thruster. I want to use one bar for this and my old 8m Sonic. The thruster appears to have uneven line lengths: the front lines are about 3" (7.5cm) longer than the rear lines. Is this right? I dont know... But when you fly the kite, you'll soon find the right trim. ...

Takoon ENova2 !

Have just been out with the ENova2 in 9m2 and 12m2 the last two days. I somehow expected a "beginner" kite... Boy was I wrong ! Of course it is user friendly, because it is so extremely stable and easy to relaunch - and a rigid structure so it dont "twist" when relaunching :thumb: But to my surprise...

Re: Furia 7m ,Nova2 7m or Slingshot rev 7m ???

Cant speak for the Rev.... But the 7m2 Furia and 7m2 Nova2 - I know these inside out as I have ridden both for a long time :thumb: Furia turns the fastest ! Nova2 has best hangtime and depower ! Almost as simple as that :D A 7m2 Nova2 turns very well because of its small size, so go for this one if ...

Re: ALL Board Leashes are not Evil!

An old story now - the "leash" thing... But two things: Current does not matter at all - it does not make it easier nor worse to retrieve your board :thumb: It is just a myth, nothing but. Think closely about it, and you'll know why :D The other problem that COULD occur: If you are using the leash i...

Re: advice for an old timer

You can go with almost ANY kite today, C or SLE or Bow kite. All has all the features you ask for, and safety has improved by a huge factor. Sounds like you should go for an SLE/Bow kite for your needs, maybe with a 5 line setup if you are really "afraid" of the safety aspects :D Just go into your s...

Re: Xbow 2, potential fatality awaits

I took a picture of the pulleys at my kites (the ones Takoon are using) - they seem to hold extremely well ! (havent had one break myself or heard about anyone - but of course it would be possible...) I am very sceptical about the "plastic" models seen on many kites :( Takoon pulleys : http://www.xb...
