Re: Thank you Airush/AK

It has been almost 6 years since we started working with the iconic Airush brand. The team has changed and grown with the development of AK Durable Supply CO and Freewing, but the journey has been one full of energy and passion led by Clinton Filen a man with great ideas and vision. Not many opport...

Re: Thank you Airush/AK

A tube kite performing like a foil kite is needed in our sport. The new material makes it possible. Not everyone in my age wants to foil...and the ones do will go back to TT once they cut themselves big time...everyone I talk to fears that injury. :D Never understood how people can cut themselves. ...

Re: Is this the end of my competition career?! #Kevvlog 13

Jeez that board off looked massive... Did none of the "old guys" make it through? You should really watch the event, it is well worth the time it takes. For anyone that does not want to know the answer, look away. All three podium finishers were teenagers. :thumb: Wonder what the judging criteria w...

Re: 20 years of kiteforum

Thank you Toby for keeping this forum. Without it all information and videos will be very very fragmented, because all in fb, instg and yt is as sand dissapearing in water. Forums can be so much better for stashing and searching for info. And FB is infantile; I keep getting banned for calling mysel...

just heard it too, 260.000 machines can not be accessed, so they want them to be cancelled. And then of course a new election would be needed...

Which is within the constitution. And if they don't get cancelled, you know what will be next...because the military defends the constitution.

Re: Lake Effect

Stumbled on a YouTube channel called Maritime Horrors that had a few episodes on bad things happening on the Great Lakes... pretty hard for me to comprehend the scale of those suckers, even when they spell it out in non-Freedom Units.

Shipping a kite (2,5kg "regular" package, not the cheap <2kg package) to China from Germany with DHL took ~8 weeks, shipped one in July... Takes longer than China -> Germany.
I've had packages less than 500g take 3 months, China to Japan

Re: Political situation in Brazil

We were in Thailand one of the times (!) there was political unrest and the military took control. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief -- apparently, the military did a much better job.

Fingers crossed. Taking a leaf out of Canada's book though... yeesh.
