Re: Switchblade 2010 any news?

agree with some of what DMS and Neoniphon have said about the '10 SB - i'm not experienced of a kiter as they seem to be, so can't comment on all of it though. i tried using the '10 bar with my '09 Cab SB kite and the chicken loop came unhooked twice while simply tacking upwind. i think it's due to ...

Re: 2010 Switchblade 10M - Any reviews from 200lb (90kg) Guys

agree with hapa13's review. i have a quiver of '09 SBs (8m and 12m) and now added a '10 SB 6m - it's a better kite than the '09s - specifically, it flutters less in the gusts and handles gusts with so much more stability - and the turning is just so much more responsive. (i think i'm taking hapa13's...

Re: hey ladies... North Paris 129 Board 09

hey katrine, after you try it, post up here what your experience was and what you end up getting! i ended up getting the north jaime pro... fckgravity has a point - i really did not like the soft flex of the girls board (in regards to going upwind thru chop and also in regards to landing on it) - bu...

Re: For the ladies only

i hear ya motz. i actually started out as a snowboarder ... just took up kiting this past yr but i've been noticing more ladies not only on the slopes, but also taking up kiting (on the water), altho it's not happening as quickly...maybe because kiteboarding is not as generally popular in the states...

Re: North boards question for women

i recently got to jump with the '09 North Paris 129 - i noticed i really have to land square if i don't want to wipe out - otherwise if i tip the board up a bit, i fall backseat or if i tip the board down a bit, i faceplant forward. i wanna say it's almost like landing in slush on a snowboard except...

Re: North Rebel 2009 VS Cabrinha Switchblade IDS for a beginner

hey Elt, i think nomorebikinis is right about the '08s vs the '09s SBs. i've heard both sides (people like '08s better, and others like '09s better). Or you can just wait a month or so for the '10s coming out. i'll prolly demo the '10 bar when it comes out and see if it's better than my '09 bar. and...

Re: kiting in great south bay NY (best center)

sheffer, yeap i ride in the GSB - it's mostly flats & slicks. if u want access, u have to contact one of the two shops above as the bay is accessible by boat only - but if u want waves, you can surf at gilgo beach.
