Re: Trace and Polars?

Been requesting it, no progress so far.... we did succeed in getting lots of improvements in the program in 2016/7 but lately haven't had much success with requesting things...maybe if a bunch of us did we'd get somewhere...... Trace works fine, easy to use, GPS pretty accurate, comparable (but diff...

Re: Revl Arc cam: Anybody preorder one?

I preordered....several delays in delivery advised, latest communication a request to confirm delivery address...so, on the face of it, delivery looks like its coming...soon??? But their comms are frankly lousy; several requests for a line mount to be purchased and shipped with the camera are simply...

Re: More about GPS devices

Re: Advice on choosing an intermediate kite.

Kinda OT, but info for those that are interested.... Thinking about line shrinkage....from my days, some time ago (!) as a synthetic yarn consultant, ALL synthetic fibres have the capacity to shrink when heated....as individual yarns or as components of a manufactured (woven, braided, knitted, whate...

Re: North PIQ Advice Help...

For me and Trace (similar device, slightly different but essentially like all of them) the sticking point was the Bluetooth connection I had a heck of a lot of trouble getting my Trace to pair with android....drama after drama, recognised then not...downloading part files, ugh! Developers sent me a ...

Re: woo, piq, xensr -- it's our data

Absolutely agree Fogm... all these devices will no doubt converge...we now have cameras with gps, not long before the whole suite is integrated I guess and, wouldn't if be nice if we had an interchangeable data set standard so that we could compare......and that we could get it without having to go ...

Re: woo, piq, xensr -- it's our data

I've been using a simple GPS device (Locosys GT31) for 4 years to track my speed mainly, but it also shows tracks and distance and the file can be shown in any of the 3rd party file readers (GPS action reply etc).....+ google earth, where it shows tracks I find it interesting to log speed in various...

Re: Cabrinha 2017 New bar connector rumour?

Got a sneak peek at the new Cab catalogue and it seems that a new system is coming Didn't get exact details but chicken loop seems to be gone and replaced with some kind of ball under the QR that links into a specially designed spreader bar. Some existing 2016 NP harnesses will also take this system...
