Re: 10m North Rebel vs 10m Airush Varial x

riding style is more freeride oriented but I like jumping as high as possible. Not much in the way of unhooked anymore due to age. Conditions are typically 30 km/hr, choppy with some big swell on large wind days. Thanks for any help. The new 2015 VX is more freeride oriented and boosts big and is e...

Re: Airush Board Quality

I think they had some issues with the boards this year. Take it back to the retailer you bought it from as Airush give a 2 year warranty on the boards, including use with boots on the Livewire. I've dealt with a couple of warranty boards through the shop I work at & they have been honoured no proble...

Re: Riding blind help

When i switch to blind i fully rotate the 180 an put the weight in my back foot but just dont seem to keep going. I release immediately almost. I think it could be i am not using fins and need some traction? Cheers Try starting your pop travelling much more downwind, so after rotating 180, you land...

Re: New 2015 naish pivot?

We just got our Pivots in the UK. Some nice wind in the last couple of days so I put a 10m on demo. In the sky the kite feels quicker than the Ride, it's very agile in the turns and flies forward keeping it's speed out of turns really well. The power stays very constant in the turn, which is very ni...

Ask Chris Martin at AgentEight.co.uk, they are the uk reps and have a pretty comprehensive demo fleet.

Are you riding with straps or boots? If boots then the team series or something like the Airush Livewire maybe?

Re: Fuel 13m2 2012

I have 13m Fuel (2009, but I picked it up real cheap for lighter wind freestyle) and team Razors 11/9/7 - tbh I wont be replacing the 11m in my quiver next year. The 11m only works a couple of knots before the 9m. 13 to 9m drop works absolutely fine for me with 138 board. Can't see it'd be much diff...

Re: 4 or 5 lines?

Lol someone must have ordered too many 5th element bars from the factory  or they've now realised double front line flagging really isn't actually the greatest way to make a safety system...

Re: Big Chicken Loop for Airush Smart Bar

Yes they do, I've got one... Just ask your local Airush dealer to get you one. Bit of a bugger to fit as the tube is round and the hole it fits in is quite a flat oval... Bit of squashing/shaping was required to get it to fit  Works a treat for putting your bar in the right place to ride comfo...

Re: No takers?

That sort of wind has been pretty standard in the UK this winter... Break out the 5m and get on it :D
