6 hours to reach boardstarts, ..These are the students I must keep getting ..that need to fill in many missing skills even though they reached board starts and got a shiny IKO card maked up to level 2. Same here. I also get lots of students who don't perform Level 2 even though it's on their card. ...

So your'e saying there's no risk when a kid at any age can walk into a high street store or some kite shops and buy a powerkite of any size without question? At least whilst providing some alternative outdoor activity you can constructively suggest the potential dangers with what most kids will rega...

Did a similar thing last year in a local secondary school. Ran a 3 week pilot of 2 hour sessions taking the kids through kiteskills and briefly on to a landboard for the better flyers in the group. Safety awareness is good at that age as they can buy kites at some high street stores such as Argos or...

Nomoore: 1. Generally at the shop where I teach, the lessons are 3-hours in length and the clock doesn’t start until the student’s kite is in the air.
