Re: Size of the North Gambler?

I have been riding the Gambler for a few weeks now. I weigh 215 lbs / 97 kg. I have been riding wake shaped boards for the last few years in the 144 and 142 sizes. I would have ordered the 142 Gambler but through a twist of fate I wound up with the 139 and am very happy with it. it is very light (an...

Re: Big Horns 11.7.2011...Nice Snow Slide Sequence!

I made it up there on Friday the 11th and wondered about that slide up there. had an unreal day sessioning in good 13m wind with another crew from Bozeman/BigSky and some Billings locals. Ive been snowkiting for years but only on flat land and a few small hills. Man, kiting up aro...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

no agenda. I was just very surprised to see an icon like yourself ride like that. thats it. I edited my post a bit to be more family friendly, probably too strong a word to use. and to eliminate any brand bash, not necessary at all - I just associate you closely with the brand. and y'all probably ri...

Re: EpicKites (3rd Generation. 3G kites)

dimitri, i was in OBX last week and was there at Jockeys Ridge to witness your kite, looked pretty good. what was unimpressive was how reckless you were riding around others on the water. Spraying/ buzzing others and riding across lines is riding too close for comfort and sets a bad example. I shoul...

Re: Now seriously - self rescue on a Cabrinha?

Ive used the IDS for teaching self rescue quite a bit and totally agree with Luke here. still prefer a a proper 5th line but the IDS works well. Re: Fatality in NE Brazil

gotta totally agree with Me3 on this one. "I've always thought that those retention posts were an accident waiting to happen at Guajiru. They were lucky previously that of the many people that crashed their kites into the infamous (and now removed) power lines no one was killed. Whilst that launch a...
