Ozone Connect Pro harness...

I had the opportunity to demo the Ozone Connect Pro snowkite harness for a few days last week and really liked it. While I didn't have issues with my Ride Engine water harness, the Ozone harness was more comfortable on the snow, packs down even smaller, and doesn't cause my coat to ride up. It was a...

Re: WMFG Pump issue?

All plastic has issues in those kind of temps. You have to be really careful not to bend or bang anything. You can snap off pump feet, handles or crack hoses pretty easily. I have regularly broken snowboarding straps by accidentally stepping on them and bending them backward in cold temps. It's just...

Re: No kite pumps in CO

Agreed. I used the WMFG style pump (same pump but Slingshot branded) last week in sub zero temps and it was awesome! I'll never travel to snow with the old style pump again. In cold weather the older pumps seem to be 3 times the work they are at the beach. I think that inner chamber seal is just che...

Here is maybe another approach for those who are still interested in a Gopro product: https://community.gopro.com/t5/GoPro-Metadata-Visualization/Post-your-metadata-videos-here/gpm-p/47113 Check out the first Clip, should also work fine for kite Rotation... Is there a link somewhere that shows how ...

Re: Airline Pilots, Kiteboard on Layovers?

Last time I flew in to Puerto Rico I went right to the beach and got in a session while the wife checked in and hit the beach. After my session I was talking to a guy and found out he came in on the same flight... turns out he was my pilot! Said he often kites on layovers. In this case, he could go ...

Re: Help - Purchased Old Kite - Does it need bridles?

I never said I would learn by myself with this Diablo C kite. I will learn with the instructor´s kite the first classes. Once I´m able to ride on my own I´ll use a 2016 Liquid Force WOW kite. I haven´t even seen it yet but I heard it´s more oriented towards wave riding. I don´t think I´ll use the 1...

Re: Kite-o-rado Snowkite Conditions

I know this is the Colorado thread, but as it's the only active stoke filled snowkiting thread going, I figured I'd ask about the Big Horn Snowkite Masters next month! Anyone going? I'll be there. Hope to see some of you guys up at the lodge! :thumb: snowkite_masters.jpg Here's a fun video I stumble...

Re: Help - Purchased Old Kite - Does it need bridles?

You should buy a Slingshot Link bridle for that kite. Those are the best around. :thumb: (I'm just kidding man, you'd kill yourself. Seriously, get a lesson. On their gear. Then maybe another one on your gear, but either way have the instructor look it over and see you out on your first session with...

If you have to ask a question like that then you should probably return it and take a lesson first before buying gear sight unseen.
Agreed.

Re: Ocean Rodeo stick shift bar

Very cool, nice to see another manufacturer appreciating an innovative design and licensing it instead of copying it. :thumb: I know BWS always appreciated a simple bar with no extra bits to distract in the surf, so this seems like a great fit being that it's such a clean looking bar. (no trim strap...
