Re: Relocating to Tenerife...

I spend a lot of time in El Medano, it is the only place for kitesurfing on Tenerife. If you live in El Medano you do not need a car for kitesurfing. The buses are good to get around most of the island. People hire cars privately, around 250 euros a month. In winter there is a busy Digital Nomad kit...

Re: Please help me find a slow leak!

Bladder leaks are known a problem with Ozone kites. Sand / salt gets between the bladder and the outer dacron material, rubs and and creates holes. There is plenty on this forum about it. As an ex Ozone kite owner (changed brands because of bladder leaks every 6 months), I recommend to replace the b...

Re: Help me decide North Reach or Ozone Enduro 9m?

Go for the North Reach. I have used both kites, if you like how the Duotone Evo flies you will like the North Reach. The Enduro 3 is a slightly more technical kite to fly, personally I prefer the Enduro 3 to fly, but the hangtime is better on the Reach. The problem with the Enduro 3 is micro holes i...

Re: co-living/working space for april/may + kitefoiling in/near Europe

El Medano in Tenerife is the best location I know that meets what you are looking for. It has become a hub for (kitesurfing) remote workers. There is a free rescue jet ski. The wind should be great for foiling at that time of year, you don't need a car, 3/2 wetsuit,. Computer screens are often for s...

Re: Eleveight WS V5 - any non sponsored reviews?

I asked the original question in the post. I ended up buying the Eleveight WS V5 6m and 9m 2022. I also tried the Duotone Neo and North Carve before deciding on the Eleveight. For me the Eleveight felt similar to the Neo, but the Eleveight is a more straight forward design, hence less potential brea...

Re: North Reach 2021 vs Ozone Enduro v3 reviews please

I have used both of these kites. The North Reach is more the 'point and go' type of kite, like an Evo, Pivot, Elevight RS. The Enduro V3 you can feel the power of the kite more, it feels more responsive. The Enduro is a nice kite to fly. The issue with the Enduro V3 is the problem of sand / salt cry...

Re: New quiver doubts (Eleveight RS & Naish Pivot)

I used the 2022 Eleveight RS V5 7m a couple of weeks ago. I also used 2021 North Reach 8m, 2021 North Carve 8m, 2020 DuoTone Neo 8m and 2022 Eleveight WS 7m . I have used the Naish Pivot in the past. If you like these allround 'point and go type' kites (like the Naish Pivot etc) the 2022 Eleveight R...

Eleveight WS V5 - any non sponsored reviews?

I tried the new Eleveight WS V5 7m, it is a super nice kite surfing the waves. However it was really unstable when powered up, going upwind with the wing tips almost jellyfishing. I am unsure if I did not pump the kite hard enough, if the wind was super gusty or it was the kite. Does anyone have exp...

Re: Pre aneurism in bladder

I have experienced this with all the Ozone bladders I have tried to repair. With the micro holes caused by grains of sand or salt you need to inflate the bladder outside of the kite to find them, which is not possible as this happens. There is lots on this forum referencing problems with Ozone bladde...
