I wouldn't say the Nitro 4 is hard to relaunch. It just takes longer for the kite to work to the edge of the window to launch. it can be a problem in the surf, i've had to swim in a few times because i couldn't get the kite up fast enough before it got mauled... How do you exactly do it in the surf...

It kinda works, it's definitely not as reliable as something with a big bearing in it like the slingshot, LF, etc though. Not a huge issue because the swivel at the chicken loop is large and easy to turn. A lot easier to turn than the best one, which is quite small and difficult to turn.
