Has anyone tried to bend the plywood with a steam cleaner. A friend of mine was did this for other purposes, not for a kiteboard. As I understand high temperature softens the glue in layers of plywood, so after cooling playwood keeps the current form.

Thank you all for your replies. But now when I have rocker table and vacuum pump, I must do a little experimenting with concave and rocker. I decided to make a big light wind board 165X50, something like Spleene monster door. Does the Spleene door have rocker and concave???

If put the concave in just the center and none in the tips you get a bit of flat in the center and the continuous rocker at the rail. Best of both worlds. Concave is a bitch. If you do it wrong, it will create vacuum and the board will be pulled off your feet when jumping. Thank you for your replie...

I heard that the best poplar plywood, light weight due to less density than the others, it is also very strong. Is anyone has plans for a spleene monster door that I could use for cutting plywood?
