I'm not sure about that. I always fly the kite behind the zenit and then pull and do my rotation. This way it is already a bit further on its way. Almost like a downloop.

I always had a blast on my ARX, X2, R2 (still have my 20!) etc.

Sucks if you speak about kitelooping...but todays kiteloops are easy and not spectacular...that would be on mention old kites
