Re: Peter Lynn Nova

I thought they ditched the Nova altogether... Got a 10m V1 for foiling, but I'm more than happy with a 9m lightweight LEI now because it's just much more user friendly. Nova V1 regular version was a recipe for disaster in light winds should it hit the water. Still got it, but mostly for snowkiting....

Looks like they got rid of the 4m. That's a shame.
Probably not much calling for a 4m.

Re: Ozone R1v4 speed sytem

Are you referring to the knots as found on the Chrono V4 for the brake line settings? (See page 13 in the link below)

I took a "brief" look at the R1V4 manual and couldn't see any knots!

Re: Nerd Out on Paraglider Design

I remember Hannes Papesh from Nova.
Nova Wings (Paragliding Company) also hosted "Boom Kites" does anybody else remember "Boom Kites"?
Kites included the "Vector" and the "Skite."

Re: Foil kite with or without adjustable mixer

RE mixer adjustments I was freaked out by the first foil kite I owned without a sliding mixer adjuster (all things made of rope are adjustable) it was an F-One Halo. I soon learned that you can adjust the mixer using a bit of knowledge of knots and keep it all in tune using a sharpie copying the Fl...

Re: Ozone Chrono V4 Wing tip stability

I can only refer to Chrono V1's where pre-inflation is key. Launch at the side of wind window and when at the top, "gently" pull the brake strap which causes back stall/flattens the canopy allowing the wind tips to inflate. (There is a fine balance between too much brake or not enough) I have in the...

Never seen this happen before!
Can you provide additional close up images of both parts of the wing?

Re: Foil kite with or without adjustable mixer

How about different impacts on the type of foil kite (race vs freeride) ? I have read that race kites, or kites with higher AR tend to go out of shape faster and need more retuning ? I think I should not focus too much on that feature. Given the possibility to change any mixer system. You just have...
