Out of the 30 some times I went to the sand bar last season I only saw closed cell foils twice. One guy was on an old ARC, he was having a lot of trouble and eventually had to swim the kite in. Other guy was just standing on the beach with what I think was a FlySurfer kite, never saw him go out. I h...

I was reading a kiteboarding mag lately (think it was KiteWorld) that had an article on the growth of kiteboarding. It put the current population of kiteboarders in the world at 100,000.

Sounds like there might be something wrong with the kite. Instead of trying to get a response from naish here, why not talk to your dealer, local naish rep, or email Naish about it.

I'm not sure that testing it before hand will be an option, but I can try. The poor depower characteristics was why I was only going to get it for a 16m... Actually I would get a Boxer 16m, but I hear that they aren' t that great. We have a good light wind spot here in town, so light wind performanc...

cyclone - One thing I just thought of, my Aero2 seemed to respond well to changing the line settings. Taking it off the Fast turn setting seemed to make it more stable. Maybe you could give this a try?

That sucks that you are disapointed man. I wish I had more first hand experience to offer you. My current quiver is a 10 and 12 Aero, and a 16 Aero2. The Aero2 is a sweet kite, and I really like the 10 and the 12 despite being a little older. I was hoping to replace this quiver with a 16 V4 and a 12...

This whole thing has been hashed through on a few different threads already, here's the first one: http://www.kiteforum.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=2298085 Basically the important information is that this does not include the South Padre area, you can still kite there. Check out the thread for more de...

Naish has suggested that the V4 doesn't have as good depower as the X3 or Boxer, so maybe thats what you are seeing when its 25 knots and you're on a 12. The V4 is a power kite like the Rhino 2, power comes at a price. Sounds like the R2 didn't depower well at all, so if instability is all you have ...

Ten4 rules! :thumb: Its the only new DVD out right now worth getting. I borrowed the new Slingshot video from a friend the other day and watched it. Too much guys doing stupid shit and not enough kiting. (They dedicate tons of footage to these guys running around a neighborhood throwing firecrackers...
