Re: Travel bag for Lift 170

Yes, this is the challenge with Lift wings. I've searched forever for a good solution. Here's what I've found. For check-in the epic golf bag fits the wings and board really well. It's giant and great for a big trip and tons of gear but too big for a lot of travel IMO. I've found that hockey bags wo...

Re: Nobile travel bags, questions

TomW, a large goalie bag will fit a 120cm Groove Skate, lift wings and any length mast and lots of kites and gear. Trust me, the Nobile bags are so shallow they are not functional unless you're going to the tropics (no wetsuit, etc). I've purchased 2 of them and I bought the split. I don't mean to r...

Re: Nobile travel bags, questions

I have the bag and I don't think it will. It's tight for an 80cm Stringy mast. There isn't a lot of depth either. I was totally disappointed in the bag. the best option is a hockey bag. It has more depth and when I used it last summer I didn't get charged, though I made sure it was well under the we...

Re: 1 bag that fits all my kit? Surf board, twin tip, 2-3 kites.

I searched for years for this and used several. The Epic Golf bag is huge and fits all of that. It has wheels too. It's very wide and fits large, 1 piece hydrofoil wings (Lift) too.

Re: Kurtis Goggles

I've used Kurtis for several years. When this thread came out I was disappointed because I really love them. I took advice from the thread and bought the LiP glasses. The Kurtis glasses are way better. The are light, flexible and super comfortable and they float. The Lip might look more like normal ...

Groove Skate issue

I love the board but just ran into an issue you may want to check. I was removing the mast for a trip and the bolts are seized in the track. I'm guessing they used aluminum. I finally removed 2 and had to drill out the other 2. They were only in there for a month. I replaced them with brass ones fro...

Re: Water in my Lift Mast - possible fix

First, put the mast in direct sunlight and the water will disappear/evaporate in a few hours. Getting rid of the water was always easy. I just want it to not penetrate. You're correct, I've used it for 2 summers not years. It's the new version. I've put a lot of fun hours on the mast and wings - lov...

Re: Water in my Lift Mast - possible fix

I would call it more oval but it's the newest iteration. I definitely love it.

Re: Water in my Lift Mast - fixed it

Okay, it appears I found a fix. For my fix I removed the screws and the barrel nut. There are no threads keeping the barrel nut in there. On the mast I taped the end where the screw enters and one end of the empty barrel nut hole. I mixed up enough 5 minute epoxy to completely fill both holes and us...

Jesus. Ulukaya. Please stop. I was on your side but you're losing me fast. Every post is diminishing your original point. Anyone at Core Kites. It's widely accepted Pullstrings is CaptainCore and therefore representing your brand whether you think he is or want him to. He is, at least in my eyes and...
