Using 22 or 24m with 12m Hyperlink, would that easily cover sub 10knots winds with hydrofoil? and what about a surfboard, what wind range will be covered??
Thanks Plummet and Peter
I have no experience in light wind, and still early in foiling - but see plenty of light wind and flat water in the mornings. Very enticing but steep learning curve, and lots of cold water swims. Maybe learn with LEI before investing in foil kites
How difficult is it to get started in such low winds with a larger LEI or foil kite? meaning, do you loop it or aggressive maneuvers?
and downwind - looping, to prevent it dropping?
Continued off topic.... I wait till the mid/latter part of the current ear for last years kite to come on sale. Prices are approximately 50% off.
Every year the companies bring out new kites claiming this is the best design yet.
Toby - that is a misconception, that taking little kids out kiting with adult is safe!
Same thing we had discussed on a previous thread, which occurred in the Caribbean, Canadian kiter and the kid died.
