Double skin foil kites embody an entirely different type of foiling and are more upwind, race and big air oriented.
I love my 6m Soul for dynamic skatepark downwind swell riding in 10-13knots on strapless 550cm2 foil.

Re: the big dilemma: Pump vs Foil?

Same old arguments…. This isn’t the 100-page Peak thread. OP asked about light wind foiling with tubes….

Re: Self rescue on a 15/18/21 foil kite- advantages of different methods

I’m almost always alone and within easy swim to shore if it’s 18m foilkite wind. Often I will keep the dump valve closed, bring wingtips together, and roll the bar in the wingtip until kite is pressurized. Swim for a while making sure LE intakes aren’t in water. Then roll some more to take up any sl...

Re: the big dilemma: Pump vs Foil?

What I ride is best and everyone should chose the same as me!! J/k. Do what you like, it’s a journey. Fun and interesting to try different gear choices for a while. Local conditions and what you observe others doing is different everywhere. Your skill level is a big part too. My light wind gear jour...

Re: Size wing for the Legless guy ?

I weigh 200 Lb , (97kg) , and can count on decent wind over 10kt. What size hydrofoil would ya recommend for me to learn this sport ? And the size wingie-thingie as well Thanks : Bille Bille, I’m sure there’s a way! But can you ride a kitefoil? Or wakefoil behind a boat or jet ski? How well does it...

Re: Safest low wind kite for kitefoiling

You won't find a more reliable foil kite than the soul. I would get another UFO or other super light tube kite. I disagree. Soul is great, but the 12m is heavy for light wind foiling and has a tendency to side slip into a taco when luffing at edge of the window in lulls. Other lighter foil kites ca...

Re: Infexion Seatbelt Quick Release V3

I've had all three versions of the QR and this last version was a huge jump on refinement. Really really enjoying it and I do believe this is the future of QRs. Agreed. Evan, I have the base model without bearings and it is possible to spin it to untwist the lines using one hand by pushing black di...
