Re: Kites available in sizes smalelr than 4m?

I also own a quiver of 4/5/6 and 8m Bandits and also a 3m Breeze. It is excellent for hydrofoiling in strong winds, super smooth and progressive, my no limits kite! Hello Windmaker, I have a quiver of Bandits, with 6m as the smallest, thinking of getting a 4m as well. Would you recommend the 4m Bre...

In marginal wind, I prefer the option 3. (pivot turn)
With a 1000cm2 front wing and a race kite...

Cheers
Is there a video of this gibe?

Unfortunately no.
If it would help, I try to make a video in May/June...

Re: Wave kite size recommendation

totally brand dependent IMO.
if you come from C kites, try the Bandit.
If I had to take one kite for 15-25 knots on a strapless surfboard, it would be a 9m.
(80kg)

Re: F-one Breeze v1 vs v2 for beginner

I got the Breeze V2 11m and very happy with it.
For 80kg and low wind conditions, I would go for the 13m.

Re: Does board volume still matter for water starts?

IMO.
low wind and/or low skill level= more volume board
high (sufficient) wind and/or higher skill level= less volume board
with the introduction of larger foil wings the above "rules" are not clear cut, but generally this is what I go by...

Nomad CC-Wave
According to my wife, its like you glide on the water, feels like you have no board on your feet sometimes, rips up wind with ease, great to play in small waves...

Re: attach carbine hook to spreader bar

How do you tether launch / land with the CL attached directly to the rope slider? Just walk me through your steps. Seems to me that fiddling around with closing the CL over the rope, with kite bouncing around on the other end, is cumbersome. Regis; does end of the CL ever slip off the ronstan frict...
