I have been around lots and lots of North kites haven't seen any problems at all, or heard of any. The only screw up North ever made was the Toro II. lol

I had another session of light wind with the Rebel 14. It was between 8mph to 12mph I could stay up wind about half of the time. This kite is without question a light wind machine. Still have not been able to demo the kite in wind above the 12mph range. Please please lets some wind around here.

You will have lots of ribs hurting, the more often the you jump the more rubbing and smaking of the ribs. Get an impact vest.

wat bout 16-10 quiver? I ride 9-14-18 rhino currently. wind hard to come by where i stay, so would prefer a 16 to capitalize whatever breeze that comes along. desperate mode if u know wat i mean. 16 and 10 have lots of overlap. I've ridden 12 and 16 back to back. Way to much overlap. Now kite choic...

Just rode the Rebel in light wind. The kite is sweet. Can't wait to try it in real wind. Fast, no bar pressure, light wind machine. Was using the 14m and staying upwind in 10 mph, ocean current may have helped, but this kite is something nice.

I have always found a simple "oshit loop" on and outside line works best for selflanding. Used it many times, on many brands, has never failed
