I bought a new Airush Smart Bar a few months ago - 2014 closeout. I noticed while flying my 12 Airush Lithium the kite wants to pull down (toward the water) on one tack - port. It's little more than subtle but not a control issue. On the other tack it flies fine. I contacted the dealer and he said I...

Good comparison of the Vader and Vanguard (featuring some nice WMFG Traction I might add) here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Pbhzs0CXpE&feature=youtu.be Matt seems to riding both boards a bigger than what most recommend for kiting. In the video he said the VG goes upwind better and is smoother ...
I'm not talking about the Vanguard whip but the North Whip! There's an used one for sale around where I'm based. I also rode the 2014 North Whip, the traditional non-Vanguard copy, it's a nice refined board and completely different from it's new replacement. I like it. It is a little on the "smalle...
Well thanks everyone for the suggestions :thumb: I will demo the Shinnster to see what it's like for myself. It's a good point that it apparently doesn't feel like a surfboard but would be easier to travel with. What does "hold the rail" mean ? I am not familiar with that term... Afraid I'm not int...
I second the Airush Cypher. Three years ago I learned to ride strapless on a (2013) 5'6 Airush Cypher - I weigh 158 lbs / 71 kg I can get going @ 13 knots / 12 meter right all the way up to 35 plus on my 6 m. I tried lots different of boards and three seasons later, the Cypher is still my "go to" bo...
Since the get go I've used the Dynabar with the Powerwave bar, but from time to time it makes contact with my surfboards causing some serious dings. I switched to the dyneema line with the roller hook, and have yet to try it. I see that some riders use the rings in place of the roller hook. Aside fr...
Well, hes wearing a vest over top of it if that says anything! Cant imagine that is all that comfy. I have an NPX fleece lined neoprene hoodie with a slot for the spreader hook and wear my vest underneath. I'm wearing it in that pic right there. <~~~ If you're referring to my set up, it's very comf...
I have an NP Edge 5/4. In anything short of winter conditions (below 40 degrees) it's a nice suit. The only issue is windchill on the sleeves and legs due to the fabric covering. That's when I throw on my Victory "wind resistant" hoodie. It makes big difference. Any wind resistant top will help. Als...
I agree with distribution being a major component in cost...Being in biz myself, the actual cost of any product has to do with many variables, but in this case color will make only a small difference in cost...a hundred dollars or so tops, maybe? There's other ways to create value when gathering kit...
