Re: Kiteboarding at Rhodes

Thanks for your detailed reply Rufusz. I read that at Prasonisi you have more space...but it's more crowded as well....and the rescue is more expensive :( I'll try to book accomodation in north but will definitely visit Prasonisi also just to see and try the circumstances and to have a picture about...

Re: Kiteboarding at Rhodes

Another question pop up in my mind. I’ve been to places where a daily fee has to be paid for the local kiteschool /kitecentre (I suppose they are renting the place or…I don’t know what is behind…). Is it the case in Rhodes as well? Do you have to pay a daily amount to be able to use the kitespots? T...

Re: "Wind-sure" spots in Europe

Rufusz, Thanks for your note. I've already been to Viganj, Bol and Nin..........none of them is windy enough. Those days I didn't have my LW kite so, most of the time I was sitting on the beach. I cannot take Greece into account as there are no highways in that direction. Baltic sea is reacheable on...

"Wind-sure" spots in Europe

Hi, I plan to spend my holiday kiteboarding in Europe. I would like to carry with me all my gear (10m2, 14m2, a light-wind kite and two boards) which excludes a trip by plane. This also excludes the Canarian Islands and Spain as well as the latest it would be too far by car from Hungary. I could rea...

Re: A Harness that Doesn't push up

I'm also a try beginner.....during the kite- course the harness gave me headaches. Then I bought my own gear, among them a Mystic Warrior 2012. I use an impact vest 'under' the harness and have no problem. It would worth to give a try.
