Re: Ram Airs Lose in All Disciplines

I'm just wondering if you have ever flown a foil? I am lucky enough to get to fly foils and inflatables and I like all of them. Snow kiting in the mountains the foils rule. For water, I like both. Maybe you should try one out and see for yourself. Chasta seems to do just fine with his Ozones.

Re: The Montana Snowkite (Traveling) Rodeo 2010

Hey Rhett, Thanks for the info. That will be helpful for the unlucky kiters who don't get a room booked at Jackson Hot Springs in time. After all, that is where all the festivities will be and after looking at the room rates, I think per person Jackson Still looks favorable. Not to mention the RV pa...

Re: Snowkiting Mammoth or NW Montana?

Depending on the season and the time of the year, the kiting can be very nice in NW Montana. The winds are generally on the lighter side but I have definitely flown 6 meters here as well. Let me know when you are coming up and I can help you out. Our web site, www.montanakitesports.com, has my conta...

Re: Yakuza GT video.

Dave,
Get the 12. You will love it. I promise, its plenty of kite for 5 mph.

Re: Yakuza GT video.

Hey Dave, I drew the line at the 12 meter. I can only imagine what the 17 must feel like. The 12 makes a truckload of power in 5 or 6 mph and still has a nice feel. I would think the 14 and the 17 start to slow down a little more than I would like. I like to work the kites for power and the 12 seems...

Re: Yakuza GT video.

I have been flying Yakuza's on snow for a couple of years. They are very fun on the snow and the larger sizes are amazing in light air. The bar versus handle thing is just something you have to get over. Handles allow much more control over the kite and once you have learned how to fly on handles yo...

Re: Island Park WinterFest **Jan 9th & 10th**

I talked with Paul from the Hungry Bear today. They are going all out for kiting in Island Park. Paul is hiring a snow cat to create a kite park for us. It will be their first go at a kite park, but I know I'm stoked to check it out. Lets all bring shovels so we can put the finishing touches on the ...

Hey Noah,

The photo looks great. I am looking forward to the event this weekend. I think we will have a great turnout. I will see you and brian there tomorrow.
