Re: Vacuum pump: what kind of connector is this?

can't say what diameter it is , but it's for sure a pusch to connect system.
Just push the tube with the right diameter ( in europe it's 6 or 8mm) in , all done.
to release the tube , push th e white collar down and pull the tube out.
Pretty standart system for vacuum tubes.

Not sure if I’m gonna route out for the divinycell deck or just lay it on top and sand it down or what....
just route the 3mm out of your blank in the area you want to reinforce it.
I put 3oz 45°/45° carbon under the hard foam and never have problems.

Sure , otherwise you will way to much resin.
TomW wrote:Is anyone using prepeg carbon, vacuum bag and oven?
not a good idea to use prepreg with foam , prepregs need 80° and more plus pressure (autoclave)
you should build a negativ mould if you want to use prepregs

Re: Pocket board building

XPS is no problem for vac bagging, same as EPS with 30kg/m3 and over, I pull foams like that with -0.9 bar. when using EPS with 20kg/m3 or less you have to go down with your vacuum to -0.6bar, otherwise your board will be thin as a pancake. and yes for sure glass first the bottom and lap the rails a...

The moses website classifies both 695 & 633 wings for waves. However the wing shapes are so different.
Does anyone know why?
Thank you
663 is for the 710 fuselage and 695 is for the 647 fuselage.

Chord has to be much shorter to fit the 647 fuselage

Am I the only one who sees 483 stabilizer with wingtips up on new 2020 assembled foil pictures?
don't know if you are the only one, but the 483 stab stays the same as 2019, no winglets.

Re: mast tracks

For US boxes ,best are 10'' Chinnok Strongboxes, most common uni-box for race foilboards is Deep Tuttle.
