Concave in a board - what does it do???

Hi

As I consider either the Nobile 555 135x40 cm or the Skywalker Dimitri Pro 131 x 40 cm, I asked a dealer. He said the difference is that the Nobile has a concave and the Skywalker doesn't.

What does it do to a board to have a concave bottom versus flat bottom??

Thanks both! I wrote the length wrong. It is the Skywalker 131x40 I mean. I already ordered the 135x47,5 Skywalker. But as smaller board for my 90 kg. Okay. For me personally it's the other way around. I've been windsurfing for 6 years. Converted to kite a few months ago. I live 10 minutes from an excellent kite beach that sucks for windsurfing due to shallow waters. Wind direction is almost always right. For good windsurfing conditions it's 40-50...

A lot of people have converted from windsurfing to kite. XB bars are 2:1 both lastyear and this year. Waroo bar is 1:1.
Don't know if it will work as I am total beginner, but I know the bars as I have Cabrinha and my friend has Waroo

Was out today with a 7 m2 bow. The wind was 25-29 knots. Gusting at 38 knots. No problem at all planing with a 7m2 and my 90 kg :D

Well wasn't actually looking for an offer. just a price level.
