Make sure to also check the spring load on your leash. I discovered that mines was so weak it would just latch onto the CL end ring making the entire safety line useless. Now , I constantly check to see that the line is functioning while kiting....

I was there in May (not to kite) and passed that pipe at 2 in the morning. There was a load of crap coming out . They only release the sewage at night when no one can see. There was no treatment plant that I could see on the island . Be careful
