Thanks for the advice! I got 3 very different perspectives, and value each. skyrocketnflight: I agree that one needs to be careful with cabs. I had taken an unmarked cab to Cabo San Lucas 2 years ago. I, too, had strange feelings at first but everything turned out great. The guy spoke English, and w...
To go by bus: As I understand, there is no direct bus service from the airport so I would need to take a taxi to the bus station where I can purchase a ticket to LaPaz, then take another bus from LaPaz to LaVentanna. Do you know how much a bus ride costs from the airport to the Cabos bus station? H...
If you are traveling from San Jose Del Cabos airport on Friday, January 23, 2009 after 1:00 pm (local time) I would like to share a ride with you and split the cost. To go by bus: As I understand, there is no direct bus service from the airport so I would need to take a taxi to the bus station where...
I have an 06 8m Sonic. It is the most fun above 20+ wind. I'm sure it's something with
your setup. Make sure your center adjustment is set properly. Also, after a while, the center lines

it back to balance..
Keep posting about accidents and even fatalities. I know that I've become a lot safer rider because of these posts. One needs to know the consequences of the risks we are willing to take. Sometimes, the adrenaline just clouds our judgements an we need something to bring us back to reality. If someon...
For me, I usually start with whatever the last song was that I was listening
to on the radio while driving to the beach. Then, I often switch to
the songs on Spearhead and Michael Franti's "Yell Fire" CD. Those songs
get me in the mood!
steve_t, I screwed up my intercostal tendons almost 2 years ago. For me, it took almost a year to heal to the point where I could go to the gym and do lat pulldowns without my ribs hurting. I hurt it using a seat harness. I was learning to jump, and ended up high, under the kite, with the kite losin...

First of all, unless you live in a very low wind place, a 12m kite is too big to start out on, and a 127c...
Try chewing on the knot with you back teeth for a while and then you should be able to loosen the knot. I saw this solution on the forum and it worked like a charm for me. This method doesn't scrape or cut your line like using a sharp object does when try to undo the knot. I did something like this...
The fact that the guy that rescued your kite was able to let some air out makes me wonder if he did so from a dump valve near the wing tip (good idea) or actually went to the center of the kite potentially a tangeling mess. Using the bridle line to carry or tow seems like a good metheod. Either way...
