Board W/O fins

From a topic on this forum: The airush website is very confusing... is this the Razor ? http://img826.imageshack.us/img826/1103/03w4.jpg The kiter is not using any fins on his board, I guess they have some kickers and sliders on the lake he is kiting at. Wonder how the Infra handles W/O fins. I know...

Re: What kite is this ?

Yes it IS a Razor. not my cup of tea...
Anyways it is a touch weird that the kiter is not using any fins on his board. maybe they have some kickers and sliders at the lake he is kiting at.
Anyone has any idea how the Xenon Infra handles W/O fins ?

Re: 2013 Blade Unibar not flagging properly

You can't roll one front line if you have a mini 5th QR because a mini 5th QR means that the mini 5th is connected to the center line at the Y or under the Y but the connection has to be at least as far from the kiter as the distance of the steering line connection to the front point of the bridal s...

Re: 2013 Blade Unibar not flagging properly

A mini 5th release is not intended to depower your kite 100%. if you want to roll your bar you need to first roll up one of the back steering lines for 3-4 meters till the kite is fully flagged then roll up all the lines together. I've never heard anyone ever recommend flagging a 4 line kite by a s...

Several videos show the cloud relaunching quite easily in light winds.
have you experienced this?

Re: kiting on old (2006) gear?

The problem with old gear is that it fails.
Kitesurfing gear has significant wear to it.
If you are not an experienced kiter i suggest you don't use gear older than 3 years because you can find yourself in a pickle due to broken lines, turn kite, QR malfunctions etc.

I ride the Xenon LaLuz as well. The Infra was too hardcore for my taste, but i guess that anybody looking for a board Bindings combo is looking for hardcore.

Re: Getting a new board!! Need help!!

Xenon Infra for sure !
Andy Yates rides it with boots and if takes his abuse then it will take anything.
I tried the Infra with straps and was amazed by the comfort. although it is a wakestyle board with tons of pop it is still comfortable in the chop.
