Re: surfr android watch

Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra works fine here for me. bought it for €150. How have you found the water proof reliability? I had a Ticwatch Pro which was fine and lasted well. I then picked up a Pro 3 (not ultra) and managed to kill it by showering with it in the first week of ownership  I fell out of l...

Re: Which is the durability of a carbon foil?

Which is the durability of a carbon mast foil? As the ripstop from a kite looses performance after a time, because it streaches, can I expect that after a time a carbon mast will loose performance due to some concret reasons that I dont know? I have an aluminium mast and I am doubting if its worth ...

Re: Small wing foil for kite foil (sk8, armstrong, ketos...)

Hi everyone, Has anybody tryied a small Wing foil in kitefoil ? I talk about the smallest HA size (or Mid aspect size) of the different brand. What about the HA580 V2 from armstrong by example ? Or what about the sk8 650/550, ketos 780 karve ? I'm looking for something that will fit perfectly an hy...

Re: Penta TX = Apex?

Cabrinha's Ultra HT, or Ultra High Tenacity, was a first on the 03 model Nitro Apex kite and now in 04 collection is across all the Apex series kites. It has a resinated finish vs. a conventional coating process. This material has a more consistent finish that holds up better and keeps the original ...

Re: Cheaper to buy in the US or Cabarete

Is it cheaper to buy new kites from Cabarete or the US? I'm heading there for a week in February and was thinking if I get a new kite from there or here in NYC. And what's best kite size for cabarete in February? It will almost always be better in the USA because the taxes are much lower than in DR.

Re: Cabrinha04 Launched

I think bladders are the last thing that will fail at these temperatures. One of Cabs designers / hardware engineers lives in the coldest Canada and is out constantly throughout the winter. I think in the labs they also do some pretty low temperature durability tests as Cab_driver says. I'd worry m...

Re: Cabrinha04 Launched

I am considering a new Nitro, but I am skeptical to the lighter bladders. This must be less durable, or what do you think? My kites take a lot of beating on hard snow. It's a different material tested out very well. Also tested in very low temperatures, like minus 20 degrees Celsius ? temperature r...
