So what is this “Carbon compound “ Rubber is mixed with carbon to make it black, thus it’s a “Carbon compound “ so what is this that they use? And does the Carbon in it do more than make it black? I clearly remember Sky Solbach saying that inserts were stainless steel in one video. Here I see brass inserts? Better than Aluminium on Steel I guess, but still. Just about to drop some money on one but have asked dealer for clearer picture on current batch.

They using what is called "forged" CF. Basically CF tows cut and mixed with epoxy when pushed into mold. Lamborghini and Calaway pioneered it few years ago.

Thanks for that link, I've "Liked" it. I'm cautiously optimistic. I've over engineered mine somewhat never had anything to base it on other than pictures. Was worried about mast not being stiff enough at first, I hear thats very critical. But without anything to base it on it's very difficult. My fr...

Gunnar that foil looks bad ass. Thats the length of that fuselage if I may ask. I also went a little longer on mine 760mm.

Just to be clear I don't know the guys in clip. Just something I found on YouTube few months ago. But it shows you what can be done. You don't need a massive budget to have some fun.
