Re: That guy is dangerous

This, these are the real dangerous 'kiters', we see loads of them in the summer, usually from other countries. Checklist: sunglasses (for on the water), impact vest, gloves, wetsuit booties, hood (in summer, wtf), helmet, seat harness, GoJoe, board leash. The more of the items are checked the more ...

Pure freestyle/big air, to much power in the turn unless you use it underpowered.

Re: “That guy is dangerous”

Without sounding to cliche it's the guys that show up with all the shiny new safety gear and brimming with Youtube knowledge that I keep an eye on, 2mins on the water is usually enough too see how much of a birth you need to give them. This, these are the real dangerous 'kiters', we see loads of th...

Re: Camber fatality

In The Netherlands nobody uses an helmet unless they wave kite or foil. The only ones you see with helmets are students or tourists, they usually create their own danger by not knowing where and how to launch, how to rig for the wind/skill and all kinds of other kook behavior. Helmets do increase th...

Re: Camber fatality

Accidents happen, some people are just kooks, some have bad luck. Even with the kites of today and working quick releases, accidents happen.

The people that need advice the most won't be here, they don't even know where and how to launch, let alone Google the internet for kite fora.

Re: Woo 1.0 vs 2.0 vs 3.0

Without reality test maybe the v1 was the correct one...we Will never know... Agree. Seems as though the WOO has got more inaccurate with its later versions. GPS is not the best technology for height especially one made in a $10 Chinese sweat shop. From my observations in the last week with the WOO...

Re: Is Wakestyle dead?

For low level wakestyle the risk of injury isn't that bad I think. It's more when you go in it with full power like the pro's do, they ride with so much power that the impacts can be really hard. I have no ambition to do multiple air passes but landing a nice blind judge or backmobe would be great.

Re: Why kitesurfers are more men than soccer players?

90%+ of the kiters just mow the lawn, sorry, with football you at least get some excercise.
